Nadges! Stripped Thread.

Post by diesel »

Hi all. got a prob. the bleed nipple has stripped the thread on the caliper and wont nip up. i had the same on the rear a few yrs ago but just chemical metalled it up as it had another bleed nipple on the other side of the caliper.

I dont have that luxury with the front caliper. any ideas?

do they do larger bleed nipples? thats an option i spose. its too bad to be tapped out to the same size.

yes you can get a bigger bleed nipple so you could always drill and tap it out a size.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

helicoils wont work, the fluid will seep out.
