L Discs on H model

Hi I have an 89 h model, i was told it was fitted with L calipers and H discs and that L discs would fit.
I Stripped and rebuilt the calipers. They work a treat.
I got some L model EBC discs and you guessed it, they dont fit ! (yes i know i should of checked}
I want to use the l discs, do i just bolt L calipers on my H forks ?
I see on here some guys fit gsxr 600 K2 calipers, will these fit on with minor mods ?

not a chance im afraid mate.
cant you swap them for the 300mm h ones? or get your money back?
the gsxr600/750 calipers just require drilling out and retapping, but wont clear the 310mm L discs... no calipers that im aware of will get around this.

Just a thought, Ive got a set of blue spot calipers off a 98 R1,
I would obviously have to make some adaptor plates.
Has anyone ever tried to fit these to a zxr
