Best brake pads?

What are the best brake pads I can buy, for reasonable price?
Had wheels off today to change tyres, and was gobsmacked by how low the front pads actually were.
Need some ASAP.
Anybody?

ebc are cheap and very good £26 aye gee

EBC kevlar for the road, EBC HH for the track.. works for me, but i've not tried others.
