Bearings - What are they?

Post by jonb_5 »

Hi

Having taken my H1 apart a while ago I have 6 bearings I am not sure where they go??

There are 5 smaller bearings, they are needle one which look very similar (not in size) to the swing arm bearings.

I think 4 of these go in the forks, (2 on each side) but what about the other one.

I also have a 1 larger needle bearing (smaller than the swing arm ones though).

Any ideas on where these go would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Jon

O.K. - just got some pics and more info.

I have 5x BM2015 - sizes: 26mm OD, 20mm ID and 15mm width.

I also have 1x BM2516 - sizes: 31mm OD, 25mm ID and 15mm width.

Your help in identifying these would be great.

Thanks

Jon

off the top my head, and on looking at them i reckon the bottom one is a head race bearing.

the other do look like swing arm bearings
Having a look here, http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/Kawasaki/ZX ... /#BEARINGS

Could there be a sprocket carrier bearing in there maybe?

The head race bearings are tapered ones which I have, one at the top and one at the bottom.

The spocket carrier bearing is still in there, but is alot larger than these.

I also have the 2 swing arm bearings so cannot be them.

Any more ideas?

Thanks

Excellent - thank you!

The 5 smaller bearings were the rear shock linkage. Now all fitted!

Any ideas on the 1 larger bearing?

Thanks
