damper

Post by stevezxr400 »

hi there guys.just joined the site got myself a 91 zxr 400 jap import in zx7 colours, all was fine till last week when was out and felt like i had no front end grip.i then noticed my n/s folk was leaking.i booked it into the local garage to be fixed but it turns out the internal damper is knackered and is not damperning so hence why i felt like i had no grip the forks were twisting.i need to get a new damper but u cant seem to buy these.and kawasaki uk says it will be 14 day if the can get them from japan .which they wont know till they place the order.has anybody came across this problem before and wot are my options
many thanks
