Stanchion disassembly.

Post by roop298 »

The exploded diagram of the 400L USD fork shows the aluminium wheel spindle clamps already attached to the stanchion. I would imagine thats because to replace one you would buy that part assembly complete.
I want to know how to remove the stanchion from the ali clamp. Anyone ever done this?

im pretty sure they are heat-contracted and resin'd into place...what are you doing with the fork lowers?

you can pick up decent used sets, free from damage for ~£80 on ebay.
