Replacing fork seals

Just picked up a set of second hand folks today to replace my leaking ones but wanna fit new genuine seals in the new set before fitting them to my Ninja, are the seals easy to replace or am I best paying a garage

I had to get a fairly heavy set bloke to compress them so i could screw them back up.

tink, ring james at ramp and wrench in coventry, its a pay-to-use garage, and costs £10 per hour.

he has USD fork compressors, he will show you how to use one, and then you can be left alone...isnt hard, and is a lot easier with the proper compressor tool.

james will give you bits of guidance, but if you require him to assist "hands on" its £20 per hour, or let him assist you with the first one, and then tackle the second on your own?

Ive changed my seals 2 times now and have never had to compress the forks to get them back together. Once the forks are off its a 20 min job. Follow the manual and its very easy :)
