ive also have that dilemma, im going for an 95 zx6r fully adjustable suspension as the later model's canister will knock the battery holder..

ive heard that a zxrH model will fit also, since its also fully adjustable

are you sticking with the zxr400 shock or going for something completely different?
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

just an added question, how does the h models(fully adjustable) suspension feel compared to the L models (non adjustable)?..if its as stiff as the L model despite its adjustability, better go for an ohlins or late zx6 suspension

I dont think the H model shock is fully adjustable, it has a remote reservoir but theres no adjuster on it.

h model rocker has a 50/50 ratio compared to the L's 60/40 which make the back end more compliant for road use.. certainly cheaper than a new/rebuilt shock :)
