fork re-chorming

fork re-chorming

does any1 know were i can send my fork legs to get re-chormed at i have slight pitting in one and its eatting oil seals? if there is one in kent that wud be great :smt003

it costs loads to get your fork stauncions rechromed i got quotes for £200 these guys http://www.lm-spares.co.uk/acatalog/index.html do a replacement kit new stauncions,seals,oil i think there about £170 get em re built like new, or get a set on ebay they seem to go for about £80-120 you could try ams motorsport £180 ish.

im gonna really upset u but i wanted mine done last summer and if i just sent the stanchions only, sod all but them, removing the bottoms etc it was 135 the pair. and to piss you off i cant remember the company. ill keep looking :smt017

thanks alot is a big help
chroming is the shinny silver bits of ur forks get stripped the re-chromedremoving any pitting and marks

if you are stuck for a fork leg still i can sell you one for £35, good chrome + seal, choice of silver or black lower. collect from Leeds or £10 recorded postage. have both sides in stock. 07743 998366.
