Rear shock

Hi this might be a stupid question, but I have a UK spec L3 bike and I want to know if the rear shock is adjustable for preload, so I can set it a bit higher for when I am carrying a pilion.

yes its adjustable for preload, its the adjuster at the top of the shock that has splines in the edges for a C spanner so you can adjust it.

course whether you can do that without taking half the bike to bits and/or skinning your knuckles is another question!
