quickie about forks

hi there, i have an l2 1992 zxr400 on a j reg,
one of my fork seals have gone and looking through the forums at how much of a pain in the rear its going to be and with a real hectic work load on its looking like im just going to have to change the forks, anyway i'm rambling, can i fit h model forks or are they diffrent?

any imput would be really helpfull cheers guys. ray

nope diferent diameter/ disks / caliper / mudguard/ wheel

I think you will find H model will not fit

Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

Its pretty easy, an hour and a mate to help should have it done in no time.

Take the forks off and take them to just change the seals at a garage. Be cheaper than a new set of forks i would imagine. Thats what i'm doing coz i don't have the time, plus i know some1 who will do it for just £20 a leg which is a bargain!! lol.

yeah mate proper bargain.
well i spoke to my dad just a while ago a he recons after looking at the workshop section he recons we can get them done.
cheers for all your help guy.

bit of a change of subject but i was thinking of doing a proper service and the valve clearances, are they the shim type or do they have the ones hat screw down on top??

they use shims.
