How do I know if I've got L or H SP forks infront of me?
Did someone say 480cc?

Just looking for the parts.

h1(j1) sp forks look the same as standard h1(plastic tops)
h2(j2) sp forks have the extra adjustment on the bottom of the fork legs.
L(m) sp has adjustment on the bottom too.
have you got a photo and i will tell you.
Ive got both j1 and j2 forks for sale/swap. Would like to keep one set tho

Photos in a couple of days...

Forgive me for a silly question but really what is the difference between the H and L forks?

And don't worry these are SP forks, it only took me 2 years to track a set down.

H one are longer, 25mm i think? or thereabouts. waisted differently for yokes and different mounting for mudgaurd and calipers.
do you need H sp forks then?

I'll be honest with you I don't know.

I have a custom yoke (ZXR clamps with CBR stem) and SP forks using Billet calipers on EBC ProLites. All I'm missing is the Dymag's for the project.

When I started this I was told that H and L forks were the same, and now I find there are differences. I need to find out what I've got and take it from there.

Ok cheers for that. How can you tell, serial number?

And if you would be so kind, how do I tell which yoke I have or is there no difference?

tell by the mudgaurd mounts for starters. H ones are shorter than the L.
Im not 100% sure with the yokes, but i think the top yoke looks different underneith where it goes into the barrell surround. Ill have a look in the shed in the morning
