Fork oil

i have just replaced my oil seals on the forks and am wondering what oil brand/grade to use to refill. any ideas?

i think the recommended is 5w but getting it is another thing round by me you can only get 10w.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

i used 10sae sikolene a few weeks back when i did my seals,but i tink il be doing my seals again be4 long again as i find the forks very stif 4 the bumps they be going over lol

The lighter, the better. With stock forks for racing 7.5wt oil is the norm(with standard springs). If Kawasaki recommendation is 5wt, then I'd get some of that, and for the road I'd think that's about right :smt001
