Front forks h1 zxr 400

Hi I've just been told the my h1 model zxr 400 needs new forks as my current ones are pitted and rusted, would a zxr750 forks fit on to my bike ? If anybody has an suggestion as the h1 forks seem to be impossible to get hold of, I need to let he garage know by Saturday as my bike is in there workshop taking up room
