Grips - which length?

Soon to be thr proud owner of a new baby ninja. Need to replace the grips which have been pretty worn by the previous owner (hopefully not from pulling out wheelies). Checked out Ariete, which have some Kwak road grips which match the originals.

Small problem is: which length do I go for, 120mm or 125mm?

Pored through the user manual and web to no avail. Anyone!? :smt017

good grief this is a tough one..............

Perhaps you could nip out to B&Q and buy a tape measure then take it home and measure the grips on your bike.

Thanks RobB, my bike is still in the garage getting serviced and I wanted to order the grips on the net before getting it next week. Much appreciated :smt003

As for the 10"..... :smt008

Cool - been here for three years now, and lovin it :smt003 . More Kwak mechanics than I can shake a stick at, and ordering parts is a cinch. Shame all the bikes over here are limited to 180km/h though...easily bypassed but not worth the fine... :smt010

bypassed the restriction? In the usual way with a derestrictor box or do you guys over there have some cheap n easy trick?

No special tricks alas, derestrictor box or fiddling with the speedometer to remove the rev limiter. Considering that there are no roads around here where it's even possible to reach 180, there doesn't seem much point...but I still want to!
