Im a little bit confused on how these bolts secure onto the coil pakcs onto the frame, the bike shop removed them when it went in for the head bearings to be removed, so im not sure if im missing anything that the threads screw into. Iv checked inside the frame and there is no nut or anything like that. It might be blind obvious and im just being stupid but any help i appreciated. Below are some photos to help.
Cheers Adam

There should be rubber well nuts in those holes in the frame.

I'm trying to remove my ignition coils and the well nuts are just spinning.

Any solutions?

I've thought of applying heat but I'm not sure what effect that will have on the coils.

push the coil against the well nut and then try undoing it (whilst keeping the coil pushed). Might work, it did for me

Got the spinning wellnut problem too! One of mine keeps pinning, no matter what I do.

I also managed to drop one into the frame :wanker
Will that cause me any problems?

No problems in the frame i have one in mine.

Pretty sure i glued mine in place for this exact reason too.

You could try levering the coil out with a screw driver and that should put enough friction on the well nut to stop it spinning. They are absolute monkeys to get out hence i have one in the frame. Even if you pull enough of it out to get some thin nose pliers on to grip it that might work?

Cheers for the help, dude.

I didn't think it would cause any trouble but I wanted to be sure.

Old post o know but would anyone know what size the rubber well nuts are for the coil packs? Have checked Cradleys and microfiche and they don't appear to be listed

i think they are the 16.5mm long 6mm pop studs - 92015-1792 - its a common size on the frame...
