Scum - Ignition Damage

woke up yesterday to find my igntion had been screw drivered, the bike was left on my drive for 2 hours at the most, chained and under a cover.
the ignition barrel is destroyed, does anyone know which other barrels would fit e.g. er5 etc as theres none on ebay right now??
in the meantime ive tried hotwiring the bike but with no effect. looking at the wiring diagram, it says that when the ignition is on, the brown, white and grey wires are connected. ive tried stripping these three and twisted them together but nothing happens. any ideas??
