Ok yes I've done it, I've lost my keys somewhere between my place and the dvd shop (worse thing is I was returning some chic flick my girlfriend borrowed... as if watching that wasn't enough torture). And to top things off the key number tag was on my key ring so that's gone also.
So my question now is does anyone know what the best course of action is to getting a new key. And is there anyway I can find out my key number somewhere on the bike?
Happy New Year all,
Clint

Re: Lost Key
I think your only option other than finding the key is new locks all round. Kawasaki dont keep the key numbers as far as i know. Im pretty sure it wont be stamped on the bike anywhere either, otherwise youll have people going to get a key made up and theiving your bike!

Re: Lost Key
isn't the key number stamped on the ignition barrel?

Re: Lost Key
Take the ignition barrel to a good locksmith who should be able to cut you a new key to fit.
If it helps I know a good place in Belfast Northern Ireland that can do this.
