frame number

i know this sounds and looks like a silly question but can any 1 telll me where the frame vin nuber is on a zxr400 frame as on the bike i have the metal plate that usualy has the details on it is missing from the frame and i havent got the v5 yet so i cant check that either

where the head stock bearings go, right hand side

yep, on the RHS of the headstock, the number should be stamped.

cheers guys,,i had seen the number there but wasnt 100% sure if it was the vin number or not as it looked like it was short a few digits when i compared it to another bike i have here, anyways all sorted here now
