I am now in a position where I can get the frame powdercoated but before i do this i need to get my hands on a swing arm.
The frame is a H1, but I want to fit a later swing arm, H2 or L model.
What I need to know is which one to get, I know a H2 one will fit but they appear to be rarer than gold dust. Will an L model one fit?
Also there are more H2 zxr750 ones about, will these fit?
Thanks
Jon

Re: Swing Arm
I dont think the L will fit, im not 100% sure, but i think the L may be wider at the spindle. I do know it has different bearings.
Not sure about the 750, but i doubt it gonna be a straight swap.
The h2 swinger does go, but you would need a h2 rear wheel or change the bearings and spindle on the h1 wheel, maybee spacers/ caliper hanger too
Id ask falloffslowly. If he has not got one, it looks like he may very soon.

Re: Swing Arm
Hi
Well i dont really like the look of the scafolding on top on the swing arm.
I also want to get rid of the caliper torque bar by roating the caliper 180 degrees and making a bracket to hold it on top of the swing arm. Will be easier to do this without the scafolding in the way.
The H2 swing arm is also a lot lighter than the H1.
I also have a set of H2 wheels, with 4 decent tyres, and no decent tyres for my h1 wheels so kind of makes sense if i can find one for a good price.
Any ideas of where i might get one?
Cheers
