Hi,
I've just purchased a new Brembo Clutch perch which comes with a clutch switch but unfortunately this only has 2 terminals,
As i understand the Kawasaki has 3 terminals on the clutch switch.
So just asking which would be the best route to take as to re wiring the new switch in?
will connecting the black wire and the black/yellow together to the switch still give me some of the safety features?
Or do i need to use the Black/Black red circuit as well?
Thanks lee

Re: After market Clutch Perch & Switch wiring
wiring the black wire into the black/yellow wire will allow you to fire your bike up in gear with the clutch not pulled in as long as the sidestand is not out...you are dissabling only the clutch lockout switch.
if you want to retain the switch you will need to make a bracket that holds the clutch switch in the correct position on the new lever
if you wire in the black/red to the black/yellow this will also work, in that your bike will never allow you to fire up when its in gear, clutch in or out though.
if it was me i would just always fire it up in neutral and wire black to black/yellow and be done with the switch.

Thanks banner,
I've been trying to find a on off on switch but to no avail,
I prefer to have the function where the side stand is down the bike will cut out when dropped into gear.
So would wiring the Brembo on off switch do the same as just connecting up the black black to yellow wires?

I will give it a try and report back in a couple of weeks.
The zxr is having new brake mc front and rear and another new seat unit and spray job so a few small jobs till all back together.

Re: After market Clutch Perch & Switch wiring
Okay finished wiring the Brembo switch into the zxr switch.
Luckily the Brembo switch and the zxr clutch switch terminals are the same size so just the case of popping the zxr spade
connectors out the terminal and attaching them to the Brembo switch, the black/red cable has been heat shrinked and folded
Out of the way.
The black , black yellow wires have been attached to the Brembo switch so everything works nice now and I can easily return
the bike back to stock if needs be.
