Somehow, i dont think they are going to give that away that easily! Thing is tho, is that diagram for a Jap market ZXR? Cos they will be the ones with the restriction.

Thats right m8 they ant just gonna give it away :) But when i rebuilt my loom i did look where it went but completly forgot. ^^ Anyway yes its for a jap import as my log book says registered in uk 96 when its a h1 89 that being said it should be a import. Its got a Z on CDI and does have a pink wire from CDI and nothing speedo end.

Really good work there on the diagram. Ive just become the proud owner of my first H1 (and SP) which is a jap import, imported in 96. Ive had lots of L's before as I race them, but know nothing of the 'Z' CDI. Could anyone in the know tell me whether this bike would be restricted, how to tell and what I need to do to derestrict. Thanks :smt001

Is it really that easy, just replace the CDI? I have both blue and yellow (import) CDI's so which do I use?

Thanks

i got a h1 aswell all i did to derestrict it was the resistor mod listed somewhere on this site, basically you buy a 10k ohm resistor cut the pink wire going to cdi, solder inline then connect direct to battery hey presto 1 derestricted 400 that goes like hell :excited

Hi Guys,

Im having trouble , spluttering......

Cleaned the carbs fanatically!, synced them... still not running right.....

So I just noticed in this wiring diagram ,its different to the one on the home page.. the coil wires are different.

Theres 2 different diagrams on the home page one,the one I went by....

Its the lower drawing near the bottom of the page... its clearer the the first diagram thats why i went by it .

So I have a black to cly1, Green to cly2, red to cly3 and red to cly4.

If I'm correct this is wrong???

Also in this diagram it says gy to cly3, I have no GY mine is green??

Any help much appreciated,

Thanks.
