afternoon guys.........i cant seem to find any haedlight bulbs for m y L1.....i thought they were H4's but they dont fit...found a thread on here mentioning H4R's that were fitted to imports....do i possibly need theses?......h4 has 3 tabs,but dont fit aperture of headlights,and also ,the aperture has a small intrusion as well as 3 slots for the 3 tabs....does everyone have to adapt/bodge in order to upgrade/renew their bulbs?....surely i'm missing something here.......

Get two of the metal tabs in and cut of the third.

I think its the top metal tab that needs cutting off.

yes, there is a specific bulb for the ZXR. They are, however, about 20 quid each. I'll have a look at the name when I'm next in the garage.

I also had this problem. I bought a new set of bulbs (xenon) and they didn't fit. I cut one tab off, and they fit like a dream now. As long as they're clipped in correctly, they'll be just fine.
