Went out for a blast today, only to be strucken with no power/electrics I reckon some moisture has built up or it has just failed with Age.

Just male and female, no specific shape you can get of the internet, get the military spec ones as they are fully waterproof

I tried them before and wasn't too keen, a few of the crimp connectors just sheared, banner, what was the name of the connectors you said to me about? 100% waterproof?

Deutsch autosport mil-spec connectors...but dont expect them to be cheap, i reckon £200-£300 for a zxr400 loom as you need to buy all the different torqued-crimpers and everything else. motogp and everyone like that uses them as they are 99.9999999% guaranteed to never fail (electrical breakdowns are usually component related, not wiring related)...if you've got the cash...

You can get intermediate ones that are higher quality than the ones of eBay, but personally I think I might buy the odd milspec here and there, when im taking stuff apart, replace it while im there. And is the connector block in the picture standard on the loom? You make it sound like you have the wires, connector in pic, wire, reg/rec

Do all models of zxr 400 have the same regulator/rectifier?

On the zxr is their a connector from the loom into the regulator? Mine are just crimp connectored in, im thinking of trying to mould some form of block rather than just crap crimp connections
