Measure the voltage across the battery with the bike running, can't remember what rpm, should tell you if the alternator's producing current

Do I just put a volt meter on the + and - and take the readings??

Yup.

Let us know what the reading it @ idle and @ 6k rpm.

Get a volt meter out and stick your leads across the battery and see what it reads across the terminals. More than likely the reg/rec.

Full test is in the manuals.

Do the test above, then test the alternator.

Set a multimeter to AC and range it for 50V, disconnect the alternator from the loom and you will have 3 pins in a black connector block, test the voltage between pairs of pins at 3k rpm, the voltage should be around 45V AC on all three pairs of pins, if this is ok but your bike won't charge then either your reg rec is dead or you have a damaged wire going from the reg rec to the battery.

Looks ok to me, I would make sure to check that the battery charges to 14V with the engine running and the lights on.

I would also check voltage in the morning, and after not using the bike check it in the following morning to check the voltage drop if there is a small drain somewhere.

You're not leaving your parking lights on are you?

Bbattery over night with engine off is 12.75 volts with lights and engine on 14.7 volts??
Seems good to me and that's with alarm on over night as been switching it off just incase it was taking a drain?
