Hi,
As per my other threads, I have a H1 zxr400 that I received in bits.
For some reason I have it in my head that the battery terminal lead (the one that connects to the battery
and has a 2nd wire with it connected closer on the loom) has one end connected
to the bolt on the stator cover on the left of the bike. Is this correct?

i think it attaches to the same place as the L model, so it goes through one of the long vertical bolts that holds the crankcase halfs together (close to the crankcase breather and sort of underneath the fuel pump), the closer you can get it to the starter motor the better.
