Even though I've checked that the side stand switch is working ok, i.e. open circuit with the stand down, closed circuit with the stand up, I can still engage gear and release the clutch with the stand down.

The clutch switch works ok in that I can't start the bike when in gear with the clutch lever out.

I know owners often loop out the side stand switch but I'd like it to work.

Has anyone any similar experience of this and advice please?
