Need help- Headlight problem!

Post by Dolts »

Ok, the problem is, everything works fine untill you put main beam on or flash, the high beam stays on untill you switch off the ignition!

I have taken the dimmer/ pass switch apart and cleaned all the terminals etc, and i have swapped the relay and it hasnt cured it! you can hear the relay click on but not off?

Please help!

Sounds like a short or break in the wire that sends the signal back to the relay. Check the loom where it meets metal for wear. If you can identify the wire that returns the signal to the relay, then trace that wire looking for same.
