Hi,

Any help appreciated,got no spark at any of the plugs,all wires and fuses checked,motor spinning ok and have changed the igniter box but still with no joy,even tried a new plug.

have you checked the pickup?

Could be shagged coils, but both at the same time not likely i guess.

I agree it is the pick up at the bottom of the cam just unplug it and try another one my guess it will fire up someone else i know had the same problem

As you are sitting on the bike it is down to your right next to the clutch housing take off the front cover then there will be two screws to undo then just ease it towards you and follow the lead up and unplug

Checked with the local dealer,£68,would you say against a 2nd hand one,dealer doesn't sell a lot?

before investing in a new one, check it for resistance with a meter. I am sure the electrical manual on this site has a vlaue it should read if all is ok. Only replace it if it does not measure ok.
