Wiring a race loom

Hi there!
I've made a race wiring loom for my L5 race bike using a combination of wiring diagrams. I need some help with wiring the ignitor. Does anyone have a race loom wiring diagram that works or have any advice on how to wire it? I want to keep the charging circuit.

have you checked the SP manual on the main site?

Do you mean the h race manual? It's not the same as my bike, the ignitor is different.

Hi there! Thanks for that diagram but its not really what i'm looking for. My bike had the same wiring as the L5 manual on the site. I've cut out all the lighting circuits ignition barrel etc. and made a new loom using only the required parts. As i have no diagram for this cut down loom i've tried to use the H model race diagram as a guide but using the L5 diagram for reference.
I've wired the bike up so the kill switch turns on the ignition, removed fuse box and wired the ignitor as follows:
Black/yellow - Ground -ve
Black - Coil 1/ fuel pump relay/ rev counter
Green - Coil 2
Brown/White - Brown from regulator
Green/ black - ground -ve
Grey - ignition feed via resistor (was told this was needed to protect ignitor)
Black/ white - pickup
yellow - pickup
The bike is turning over but cant seem to get a spark! I've wired the ignition circuit with a feed from the battery/regulator(white wire)
Anyone have any ideas?

Hi there! I've made a wiring diagram up out of the H model race diagram modified to suit using L5 diagram. This is basically how i've wired up the bike. Can anyone confirm that this is how i should wire up my L5 race bike bearing in mind i want to keep the charging system?
Please help!!!

might be worth posting in the race section or emailing some of the members that have posted in the racing section for a bit of help, sloweracing is a good chap, he's always willing to help but you will need to email him as he don't visit as often as used to.

would you not want to run a total loss system? anyone got any diagrams on how to wire that up (yes i could work it out from the posted one but im far to lazy!)

Finally got to the bottom of the problem! The ignition barrel contains a resistor in it that reduces the voltage to the grey feed on the ignitor as an anti theft measure. When removing the ignition barrel and wiring ignition through the run/stop switch you have to wire in a 100 ohm resistor. The resistor i was given wasn't 100 ohms so the bike wouldn't start. When i fitted a the correct 100ohm one the bike fired up instantly. I'm not running total loss as the class i'm racing in requires the charging system to be retained. I think it would just be a case of removing the generator and regulator from the circuit.
Here's my final working version of my wiring loom in case anyone else need to use it!!
