HELP!!! Indicator lights REALLY dull

Hi everyone first time posting here.
I recently bought a 1991 ZXR 400 SP off someone, it's in good condition except the the indicators are REALLY dull, you can only see them flash if you get really close, I'm no electronics wizz and have only had bikes for a year so I was wondering if someone can advise me before I take a costly trip to my garage.
The bike has been stood for about 9 months and doesn't have an alarm, all the other lights work fine, I can hear the relay click on each signal and the indicators are aftermarket LED arrows, any help would be great.
