there are at least 3 different cdi's

yellow

red

blue

i know for a fact uk bikes had a blue stickered cdi fitted. these have no speed limititer and have a higher rev limit of 14900rpm.

im not sure why the numbers differ on them. my current one (uk specce'd one) ends in 1332 and i also have a blue stickered one that ends in 1331. i test fitted the 1331 cdi to my bike and it rode the same power wise as the 1332 so id guees that the sticker colour determines the type of cdi.

id guess that the yellow/red ones were fitted to imports but im not entirely sure to be honest how they were distributed.

Hey I've got 2 cdi units both blue ones 1332 and the other is 1331. Apparently they are same. No restriction on the rev 'range and speed reading other treads. My question is about the letter that is on them! One has 'M' (1332) and the other one has 'L' (1331) does this make any difference at all???
