H model headlights on an L model?

Hi there boys, currently doing up my zxr400 for a mate as a wedding present and streetfightering it cos that's more his style! It's an L model but I want to fit an H model headlight if possible..... Anyone know if it's a direct swap? Or maybe I just need a different bracket? Cheers to anyone with an idea!

hi mate funny you should say this because i have a h2 which i want to put a l model front end on, maybe we could swap the parts?

If your using the front nosecone then there is no straight swap since they are completely different in shape. If you just want the headlight alone with no nosecone, then you'll need to make up a bracket for the H model lights, as the L model (as i assume you know) fit onto the nosecone, H model lights are fitted via a bracket

Cheers guys, Will just be wanting to fit the headlight and any bracket it needs straight to the frame which is where it bolts I guess? Never got up close and personal with an H model!
Lewis is it? I'd be up for a swap yeah, my top fairing is fairly battered with a coupla cracks and so is the screen I'm afraid from a lil knee down accident! Whoops! I can e mail you some pics an see what you think....
