zxr400h seat unit installation

I have a zxr400h racing seat unit to install. My question is, does the seat unit (with no seat cut out) just sit on the
rear subframe? or do I put some form of support underneath it?
This is my first time installing a seat unit with no cut out for the seat.

Hi. I only have an L1 so I am not sure about the H frame. A race seat for an L (but with no cutout for the original seat) is on ebay at the moment. It is item number 136465236351. It may give you an idea about fastening your own seat.

. Hopefully I have attached photos of the L seat, but if not then go on to ebay and type in the item number. Hope it helps...if you haven't already done the job!
