THe little fairing rubbers, help fitting!

Hello all, recently bought some Skidmarx fairings from LM spares and ive just ordered a fairing bolt kit todaay and they come with small washer type things. They go through the hole in the fairing and have larger circles to stop it coming out each side of the hole if you know what i mean. The screen uses the same idea for its screws if your unsure as to what i mean!

Any ideas's on how to fit them? Ive tryred spraying WD40 on them and pushing with a screwdriver but its not working and im scared of snapping my 280 quid non painted fairings :smt013

Boiling hot water mate, i had the same problem fitting the gear lever rubber. The hot water should soften them up a bit and make them maliable (sp?) enough to get in the holes.
