Hi,
I have two dents in the tank that were there since I bought the bike. One is on the left side above the groove for your thigh and the other is where the tank pad goes. Is it possible to get these fixed? I was told by one mechanic that it's very difficult and I might as well get a new tank.

I to have the same problem. I've got a dent above my right knee. . Do we know if these tanks are double skinned and what the best method is for popping the dent out??
