The white paint on both mirror stalks is flaking quite badly.

Has anyone repainted theirs before?

Im thinking of spraying them up with some hammerite, but was unsure of the metal type as they may need a special metal primer first.

try plastikote, ive used it before as they do a 'super enamel' which is hard as f***, and thay also do a spray on aluminium primer, hope this helps
