Warning label positions

Post by rocco »

Hi guys, I'm just putting the last finishing touches to my winter project (zxr 400 L3, wine metallic red) and was wondering on the exact positions of the warning labels?
Basically I need to know the position of the "unleaded fuel only" label, does it sit in front or behind the petrol filler cap?

And the warning label/daily check sticker that sits inside the front headlight fairing, is this fitted on the left or right whilst sitting on the bike?
I'll get some pics up of the bike at the weekend if the weathers fine.
Thanks in advance for your help ;)

The manual and the parts microfiche have drawings of the label positions. If my limited knowledge is correct

the "unleaded petrol only" sticker sits in between you and the petrol cap, about 1 inch away from the outer rim of the petrol cap and the text is "right way round", i.e. you can read it correctly when you are sat on the bike.

Just put fairings back on and I'm sure I'm missing a warning label
Unleaded Petrol - check
Chain - check
Engine oil - check
Frame - check
Daily maintenance - ??

Looked at parts diagram and it looks like I'm missing one front LHS daily maintenance label.
Got part number but where does it go? Doesn't seem to show position in owners manual or service manual ...

Anyone got a picture of the one on their bike?
Help appreciated
Thanks

Thanks mate, that's brilliant.

No wonder they come loose, label will have to bend over the fairing in two directions

I love Cradley... and I'm sure they are getting to like me too :o)

Ordered a set of new labels for my L9 and the oil engine label is now NLA from Kawasaki :(

Cradley, webike, cmsnl all NLA
Does anyone know of a secret stash?

Otherwise I have the old one and will try to get a few reproduced.
