Pillion Seat

Post by Brummygit7 »

Hi Guys and Girls

Can someone please enlighten me as to what parts I'm going to need to install a pillion seat. I had a single seat unit but have just purchased new rear fairings so I'm able to have the rear seat.

Apart from the obvious like correct fairing, foot pegs, hangers and the seat itself; is there anything I'm missing off my shopping list?

Thanks in advance
Simon

Is it obvious that you'll need the key operated catch for the seat ?

Hooks on the crossbeam that hold the seat.

The catch was the one I was thinking I may need which is a pain. Hooks I'll have to investigate. Thanks both, you have given me something to think about!

I cant be certain but I might just have some of the bits you'll need.

I have no use for anything connected with pillion seats
