I need a bit of help here chaps, I had a ZX4 a long while ago but sold it so have not been on here for a fair time
I have what I think is a full stainless Micron system with the 4 seperate down pipes with spring fixings on 2 & 3 down pipes, I'm having real trouble getting the dam thing to fit! is it possible that it's for a later model bike ? mine is an 89 H1.
It seems straight but the pipes won't fit in the collector properly.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Rob

Re: SS Micron down pipe trouble
Its a very tight fit.
I had to gently use a rubber mallet. Very gently!

Re: SS Micron down pipe trouble
i used a blowtorch to heat them and the kerb to bend them a bit then mallet to 'persuade' them into place.
anything is possible with enough time and money. and an open mind...
