My ZXR is showing symptoms of running very lean, so much so that it stalls if left to idle. I have ruled out most of the posibilities of this now - e.g vacuum leak, blocked pilot.

I haven't had a close look at it but have noticed in the past that my downpipes are thick with rust, could a hole in the pipe cause my bike to run this bad?
