Original end can.

Post by DanL397 »

I`m looking at replacing my aftermarket end can for an original system. Previous owner claimed the bike had been dynojetted to suit can. Will the bike run rough if i refit an original?

Cheers guys

Probably, the original can is quite restrictive

Hi, just wondering: Is it possible to remove db-killer from original end can?

What you can do though is drill out the rivets on the exterior of the original can and slip off the cover, you can now use this to resleeve another can to make it look identical to the original, but with a different interior...if that's what you are after.

Good idea, but the original one is in pretty bad shape anyway, so figured I could have some fun with it. New temporary china end-can on the way from EBay. Previous ovner tried to drill som holes in the db-killer from outside-in, between the outer metall and inner hole... leaks exhaust everywhere :smt005

Allthough i have to saw and grind away the bolt-plate in the pipe, and weld spring-hooks to it. Planning to buy full system from black widow during this summer.
