Vibration

I Bought a 1992 zxr 400 2 weeks ago and am really happy with it apart from an anoying vibration between 6 and 7 thousand revs.
Is this a characteristic of the model or do i have a problem?

where are you feeling the vibration??

Its more of a tapping sound caused by the vibration througe the bike at these revs

I think it may have something to do with replacing the exhaust downpipes
and not tightening the bolts to the correct torque. Didnt want to strip the threads like i did on my X7.
