Carbon Fibre

Post by bl4nk »

I recently managed to snap my micron carbon fibre can in half, its one of the older cans, (straight through, bolt on, with no 'E markings' or 'not for road use') is there any known way of repairing it or does anyone know of where i can find one the same, would say it was bout 95 sort of year.
Makes such an amazing noise, and the new micron silencer ive got at the moment just doesnt cut it.

got any pics of it ? use your exhaust clamp as a guide and cut the can stright through, you will need to shorten the baffle a little bit more to allow the end cap tp go back on, drill out the rivets to release the end cap on the bit you've cut off then re-rivet it to the shorter piece.easy eh?
