Post by nick_c »

Just a quick question, looking for a new exhaust system for my L9. I quite fancy the Micron D race system, now is this too too too load for the road or will I be ok? Has anyone got one fitted to their road bike? any probs with this system?

Thank you, Nick.

micron seems to be a popular choice for race systems, if its the same as Gem had they are awesome!
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

the micron system is really quite at lower RPM and has a nice buz to it at the higher RPM's

Mate has a RaceFit slash cut on his bike that makes car alarms ect go off and never had any hassel from the police, louder the better!

Where can you buy this racesystem? Can you get it in both alu or titan?

I thought Nassert was the only system for ZXR400? :smt017

micron don't exist any more, so it'll have to be a second hand system. Scorpion do them, and there's this one on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/zxr-400_W0QQitemZ ... 286.c0.m14

My Micron race system ran up at 98db at brands.

I was looking at getting an MHP can to replace the dented and very heavy Micron. If someone offered me decent money for the system to make buying a full MHP system worth it i'd sell it. Its about £800 for the full stystem i think.
