MHP have a good reputation in the racing scene, they are doing a £100 end can for ACU licence holders too :smt001

Can anyone see a problem with replacing the standard exhaust studs with stainless ones? Thanks

no, ive done it myself before now.

my preference is to use 1 stud (upper) and 1 cap-head bolt (lower) for each header.

because a micron will be full stainless but if its standard headers they will be steel and more than likely rusty

surely std system is bolt on, full micron would be a slip on unit?

I've finally fitted the exhaust. It took a fair amount of fidling and banging etc but it was worth it. The micron system bolts on to the passenger footrest mountings so I've lost them now. Has anynone made a bracket to fit the old mounting position for a micron? Oh and the micron can is a slip on type.

It smells great when it burns off too :smt001 and leaves a protective film that'll make it easier to clean after the headers get covered in winter crud.
cool gonna try that tommorrow, had a right bloody game getting mine back on!!
