retriction certificate, legality issues?

Post by Goodwano »

hello all,

New to the site but i love it and it has been very helpful, so far i have managed to remove the carb and clean it, build some regulation washers from the specifacations posted on here, and installed them. now i have just to balance the carb and change the oil n filter and its off for an MOT, just one thing is holding me back im currently on with "mce" insurance with my rs 125, i was wandering if anyone knows if that insurance company asks for a certificate and if they do does anyone have one for sale?

Any help would be Greatly appriciated :smt001

THANKS JOE!

Hello and welcome to the site.

As i understand it, they are not required. But the best people to ask are your insurance :smt002

Thanks for the Reply

yes i have found an insurance that isnt charging me over a grand to have restricters in my bike!
(you think restricting would bring down insurance but as alway insurance is completely backwards!)

going to to try them tomorrow hopefully they will not ask *Fingers Crossed*
(quote is through bike sure, the mods on my bike dont seem to add money to the price, so not bad if your bike is heavily modded i guess)

Mot on sat too so fingers crossed for that too!
