Don't waste your money. You can make your own virtually for free. Details are here viewtopic.php?f=55&t=5599&p=54525&hilit ... ons#p54525

In a nutshell you need to insert the washers in the rubbers which join the carbs to the head. You can make them out of anything - cut them out of the tops of tin cans. You just need the shape right to fit and a 16mm hole drilled through the centre. All easy with basic DIY tools. I wouldn't use plastic, petrol dissolves certain kinds. A bit of plywood might work but I'd be wary of splinters breaking off and geting in the engine. Tin sheet is probably your safest bet and easy to cut with some clippers. When they're fitted they will look like this when inserted http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/928197/

Less than the price of a stamp!

ill test ur first ones to make sure there up to scratch...but obv id ave to keep them afterwards :P :P :smt003 :smt003

theres been alot of arguments on here about people riding without restricters and having read at length all the views i agree,
its wrong, hence why i wont be doing it any longer,
but just like insurance itself, if they made em cheaper people wouldn't be without em?

£170 for 4 washers!!
which plenty of people (except myself apparently)
can quite easily make at home is bloody money grabbing! and they wonder why people don't have them in when they should!
same as insurance for like 2k a year for a bike thats worth 1k is rediculas aswell! and before u say it, i kno it covers every1 else aswell, but still!
sorry forgot this isnt the rant section!
:smt007 :tease

1. Work out cost of junior hacksaw, which will enable you to cut your own washers out of tin lids.

2. Work out cost of buying pre -made washers (at £170 new, and your offer of £10 +p&p having caused CaNsA to piss himself laughing, should give you an idea that the bidding might start at the £50 mark. Yep, they're lying around useless in the guy's garage but at £10 do you think he can be arsed to root them out and go all the way to the Post Office? He's gonna have to be well skint)

All other costs of equipping yourself with the required tools to actually fit them are the same whether you go for Option 1, or Option 2

No brainer?

Go figure :ffs
