Popping and backfiring!!

Hey everybody. been riding my bike for a few weeks now and am loving it. Got a washer restrictor kit in at the mo but also a full race system. When i rev up past 7k or so it sounds like a machine gun going off popping and crackling and my friends said at night they see a flame in the exhaust lol. I know this is to do with overfueling, i just wander if this is normal characteristics of a bike restricted by this method. Thanks in advance for any advice i can get!!
