Hi all,
I've discovered something scary this weekend. Was out on a run and suddently my speedo stopped working. Pulled over and the speedo cable was shot. As I pulled away ... WOW. This was like a new bike. Revs just shot up and I drove it off the clock (180km/h clock).
So this sparked some thoughts of experimentation. Got a new cale and plugged it in ... not nice performance. Removed the cable ... WOW.
As far as I know my bike is derestricted, as it red lines and doesn't cut on 180km/h. But apparently it still is in some way restricted via the speedo.
I've opened my speedo, and there's no wire thingys that seem to restrict it once it gets to 180km/h.
What is this weird phenomenon
Speedo Performance Damper :)
